THE THIRD CAMBOURNE ROLLER SKATING HALF MARATHON


A gruelling record 34 laps in 45 minutes around the High St, Sackville Way and Back Lane, around an hour of skating at a furious pace for most.

The winner of the adult race was Chris Orgill.

The weather was perfect, cloudy and cool.

Malcolm has been running roller skating sessions onThursdays @ 5 pm at Comberton Village College

Thanks to all those residents who were slightly inconvenienced by this event, it was good to see some nearby residents sitting outside and offering support to the skaters.

This event relies on being able to close roads and the skaters have great difficulty finding venues. There are no purpose built courses.
