Official opening is the 19th OCTOBER 2004
The Caxton by - pass should be completed in July, probably not open though :-) Thursday, September 23, 2004 Well it seems that my prediction was worse than even I thought, the developers are querying the charges to be applied by the County Council to take over the road. So the residents of Caxton have been unable to hold their celebration Street party. We are still having to drive further than is necessary. The developers once again prove no understanding of the bad effect they are having on peoples lives and their reputation, not that they have ever worried about that. I feel the sanctions should be reapplied, preventing further planning approvals MUGA - not up to scratch, courts too short. Cricket fields not ready for another 2 years No proposal for the sports building due at 2000 homes (now 1500) Sports fields not ready for use for another 12 months Bus service is useless and they don't care. No sign of the Trailer storage area due at 300 homes No further application for the Cricket Pavilion No recycling area in Lower Cambourne The Bourn to Caxton Road should open to through traffic on 26th June |
