Cricket team looks forward to first match. July 2003 Following the successful nets sessions the team is now ready to take on their first opponents. This will be in a friendly match and enable the team to find it's strengths. The club is now getting set to expand and play in regular leagues including the Cambridgeshire indoor league over the winter, as well as providing further nets and training sessions to ensure the team is ready for next season when both the pavilion and the pitch should be ready for use, bringing the village to life on evenings and weekends. In order to enable the club to continue to grow it will be holding it's first AGM at the end of September to get people involved in various roles including social secretary and people to help with the development of a colts section. We are aware that there are lots of younger players (boys and girls) that would like to become involved in cricket in Cambourne. If you are then please let us know so we can get you playing cricket.
