You can advertise in the Cambourne Crier from £8 for a month (prepaid), cheques payable to Cambourne Crier

or £65 for a full 12 monthly issues (invoiced with a copy of the first issue that contains your advert).

The Crier Magazine is not always able to include adverts due to lack of space. The only way to guarantee space is to agree to a long term advert which is also cheaper, and / or an automatic renewal agreement.

Small adverts are normally accepted without problem
But if you don't pay promptly when you get the invoice adverts will be removed without warning and reserved space will be lost, you MUST include an invoice number with payments (or a good description) to ensure the correct account is credited.

Normally advert space is available early in the month but we can no longer wait for regular advertisers to reply to renewal requests. Of course the advert can be stopped with at least a months notice, or less if there is good reason. Current regular advertisers will now normally get an invoice when renewal is due unless we are instructed otherwise, this should ensure their advert space is not lost, this method is already working well for some and saves remembering renewals

ONE OFF adverts should be pre-paid

Technical info - The Crier is produced using Serif Page Plus Version 12 (X2) but please send your files in whatever format you use, or we can produce a sample file for you free - if you send us the text, any images etc should be sent seperately. 2 colours are used for printing - some colour highlights on a white page.
Pure text will always produce better clarity and allow text colour differences.

PDF doucuments do not always import as expected especially if they are complex or use fonts that we don't have - but are normally very good and allow a second colour to be printed, or use a high quality image such as jpeg or tiff, Page Plus will allow us to size them to fit any size as long as the width/depth proportions are correct, recommended 300 dpi at actual size and will be printed in greyscale

No responsibility can be accepted if the advert does not display as you expected. Send copy in its original format and we will let you know if it is not readable

For Illustrator (when using pdf files) select fonts and create outlines

The Crier is now printed in spot colour, the border around your advert can normally be the colour of that months page on request. Images will be in grey scale, full colour or a choice of colour is not available.

If you are unable to create your own advert we are able to design them for you but please allow a week before the deadline

COMMUNITY EVENT ADVERTS ARE OF COURSE FREE - unless they are for commercial gain, it helps if these are articles rather than adverts, (subject to editing). Tell us about your community group. Job adverts are always chargeable
