Cam Harmony is a ‘not for profit social project’ to promote interfaith dialogue, equality, social justice and cultural and racial harmony in our community by celebrating diversity of our modern society.
Our message is of peace, love and care not only towards one another but also for our environment based on our core values derived from progressive Islamic thought.
We are driven by our passion to bring about positive change by highlighting the best of our cultures and beliefs. We truly believe there is much more that unites us than that divides us.
In today’s uncertain climate of fear, Cam Harmony hopes to be the rallying point for those who reject bigotry of all kind and see people as fellow human beings without any tags.
Cam Harmony operates in Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas to:
– Promote interfaith, inter-community and intercultural understanding by celebrating diversity
– Promote equality, social justice and racial harmony to benefit the communities through promoting activities that foster understanding and good relations between people from diverse backgrounds
– Promote awareness about Islam for interfaith harmony and building good relations amongst communities and individuals of different backgrounds
– Promote debates on the relevant topics and issues concerning the communities and provide a platform for critical thinking and develop scientific and rational temperament
– Improve public access to expertise including collaborating with other similar organisations and educational establishments
– Increase public awareness of social and environmental issues affecting local communities by providing opportunities to learn and participate.
