On the day you move into your new home, you should be welcomed by your builder’s rep and shown around the house and things like the heating, boiler, etc explained. They should also give you a box with guarantees, instructions and especially the contact details for Customer Service!
You have 2 years to get any problems with your new house sorted out. Make sure you write down all the snags you find and don’t be afraid to add to it and call/email customer service until everything is fixed to your satisfaction.
Bovis
Bovis aren’t currently building in Cambourne but all newly build Bovis homes are covered for 2 years by the Bovis Homes Warranty.
In addition, the NHBC 10-year warranty also runs from your completion day.
