Pilates puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing to relieve stress and allows adequate oxygen flow to muscles, developing a strong core and improving coordination and balance.
No muscle group is under or over trained. As well as developing core strength, it enhances flexibility, sure-footedness, agility, and posture.
Dawn Fairey has been teaching classes for over 30 years. She is a master trainer, tutor, examiner, and consultant within the industry.
Trained in anatomy, physiology, and adaptations for injuries, she has taught classes to hundreds of members in leisure centres and is passionate about ensuring her class participants understand how to get the best out of Pilates.
