Construction work commenced on site in February 2019 to deliver both a new hotel and a family pub/restaurant on the prominent Cambourne Gateway Development Site, Back Lane, Cambourne.

In February 2018 a planning application was submitted for a 144 bedroom hotel and standalone Restaurant/family Pub and associated parking, hard and soft landscaping behind that.
The Restaurant/Pub will overlook Lake Lambert.

Newcrest the developer has worked closely with Taylor Woodrow and Bovis and as such, the hotel is specifically designed with only a basic food and beverage offering to encourage its residents to use the wider ‘town centre’ dining and drinking outlets.
The application was determined in May 2018 and full planning permission granted in the summer 2018.

All being well, these new facilities should be open for business by early 2020.
