The Country Park is a mixture of wetland, grassland and woodland with a surprising wealth of wildlife.
There is a huge amount of wildlife to find here, from badgers in the woodland to great crested newts in the ponds.
Crow Hill in the reserve is particularly good for farmland birds such as skylarks and corn buntings and wetland birds enjoy the newly established lakes.
The grassland areas have been sown with wildflower seeds and are alive with butterflies and other insects in the summer, while brilliantly coloured dragonflies chase around the ponds.
The Community Orchard features rare and local fruit varieties including the Cambridge Gage plum and Chivers Delight apples.
They are planted in blocks with similar flowering times to encourage cross-pollination. Fruit Varieties
